Lina Tonia
Lina Tonia, was born in Greece, in 1985. She studied composition with Christos Samaras at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and then continued her studies in composition at the University of Edinburgh with Nigel Osborne and Michael Edwards. She received a Greek National Scholarship from the Union of Greek Composers (2008-09) and IKY Foundation (2009-11). In 2012 she studied with Michael Jarrell at the University of Vienna. Currently she is working as a postdoctoral researcher in Music Theory & Composition (fellowship of the Research Committee of A.U.Th).
She has participated in several national and international composition competitions and has been awarded prizes for her works in New York, Weimar, Vienna, Moscow, Sofia, Plovdiv, Tirana and Thessaloniki. She received the Bärenreiter prize for her work Contrust (2010).
Some major performances of her works include: String Quartet No. 1, New Studio Ensemble, Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow (2007); Epitimbio (for large orchestra), Orchestra of Colors in Athens (2007); For the Absence (for chamber ensemble), Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana (2008); Deisis, Dissonart Ensemble in Thessaloniki (2008).

Matías Hancke
Matías Hancke de la Fuente (Buenos Aires, Argentina) pursued undergraduate studies at the Catholic University of Argentina and postgraduate studies at King’s College London. He has written instrumental and electroacoustic music and his current musical interests are centred around the concepts of continuity and fragmentation. He has attended numerous residencies, academies and masterclasses including the Summer Course at Akademie Schloss Solitude, Le Ville Matte Artists’ Residencies, Matrix Academy - Experimentalstudio and PAS - E (with Pierluigi Billone). He lives in London.

Martin Loridan
Martin Loridan is a French composer. He graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) and has studied with D. D’Adamo, T. Escaich, W. Rihm, A. Mabit and D. Cohen. His work includes chamber, orchestral and vocal music, as well as film-music, arrangements and orchestrations. He has achieved distinction in several composition competitions including the Franz Josef Reinl-Stiftung competition, the Sorodha Composition Competition and the Rachmaninov Composition Competition. He has also been selected for the project Invitation to Composers (Paris, London 2010-11) supported by the European Commission (DG Education and Culture), and for the Stony Brook Premieres (Stony Brook University, New York - 2013).
His works have been performed in Europe, Asia, America and Australia by various orchestras and ensembles such as ECCE, l’Instant Donné, Arcis Ensemble, The London Schubert Players, Stony Brook Contemporary Chamber Players, Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra, l’Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine, the Orquesta Filarmónica de la UNAM.
He currently works with the Centre National de Création Musicale CESARE (Reims, France) and teaches composition and music theory at the Conservatoire of St Ouen (France).

Javier Quislant Garcia
Javier Quislant (Bilbao, 1984) conceives his music as a dimension where the dynamic relationship between the musical ideas is particularly significant. He began his musical training as an autodidact. Shortly after this self-taught formative period in which he learned piano and saxophone, he studied composition with Agustín Charles Soler at the Catalonia High School of Music. Currently he studies on the Master’s Programme in Composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz under the guidance of Beat Furrer.
His music has been performed by the ensembles Le Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, Schola Heidelberg, BCN 216 Ensemble, Zahir Ensemble, Ensemble für Neue Musik Graz, and at the festivals Internationales Ferienkurse für Neue Musik Darmstadt 2012, Musikprotokoll 2013, Impuls 2013, Mixtur 2013, Quincena Musical de San Sebastián 2013, 16th World Saxophone Congress 2012.
