Associate Fellowships

These non-stipendiary, renewable, three-year appointments are intended for established independent researchers and for emeritus scholars from institutions outwith the University of London. Applicants should be in a position to contribute to the life of the Institute during their tenure (e.g. chairing or helping convene events); renewal will be conditional on such activity.

Those wishing to apply should contact the Director in the first instance, and will be required to submit a summary CV and a letter of application.

Associate Fellows benefit from discount-rate access to IMR events, a Senate House library card, and remote access to the e-resources of Senate House Libraries, but no office space or other infrastructural support.

Applications are submitted to at least one member of the Advisory Council for comment. There are no application deadlines.
